Our Capabilities

Our secure storage facilities include No Freeze and above 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Our lift gate trucks provide delivery within 250 miles of Nampa, Idaho. Our staff is able to manage your inventory within our own WMS (warehouse management system) or enter directly into your SAP system.

Commercial warehousing can expand your business footprint and customer reach while converting your fixed cost to variable costs. At Sheppard/Wood, we are committed to providing you flexibility so you can deliver great customer service. Cross Dock Service

We can unload, sort, store and reload for a reasonable fee. After Hours rate will apply.

Shipping and Receiving

Shipping and Receiving at our facility is fast and efficient. We can generate shipping documents using the Sheppard/Wood Inventory Program or by using your preprinted Bills of Lading.

 

Most major LDL carriers are at our docks daily. Orders received before 12:00 pm (Mountain Standard Time) can generally be shipped the same day. Multiple pick orders, bulk orders, or orders that require hand stacking may not ship until the next day.

 

Receiving hours are from 8:00 to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday, MST. Please call ahead to schedule a receiving appointment. Trucks that arrive with no appointment will be unloaded on a first-come-first-served basis as time allows.

Delivery

We offer standard or expedited delivery services. Our drivers are HAZMAT-certified. Orders received before 2:00 pm MST will be delivered the following day. Same day deliveries are available with an additional charge.

 

Hazardous Materials

We are able to ship, receive, and deliver hazardous materials. We have the certifications, training, and equipment to ensure safe handling of your HAZMAT products. 

 

Inventory Management

We maintain daily inventory on our state-of-the-art Warehouse Management System. Your inventory is updated in real time as your product is shipped or received. We offer EDI integration with our WMS. Custom reports, cycle counts, and physical inventory are available, call for quote.

Expedited Delivery

Same day local service is avaliable upon request for an additional fee. This means that you can place your orders and have products delivered to your customers the same day.
